Northwest Park

Hall Memorial Park 

Hall Memorial park is a large park with lots of amenities located in Southeast Dixon on Chestnut Street. Splash pads, kiddie pools, off leash doggy areas, Disc Golf Fields, Soccer fields, basketball courts, public restrooms, baseball fields, and tennis courts are all incredible assets of this park. If you and your family love our door activities, there is no doubt that you will become very familiar with this city park once you move to Dixon.

Veterans Park 

Take the family to this charming Dixon park located on Valley Glen Drive. Playgrounds, swing sets, a cute gazebo, and well maintained grass and foliage; Veterans Park is a peaceful place to get a breath of fresh air. One visitor said, “This park is always beautiful, and always clean. My kids and dog love taking afternoon trips to this location. This park even provides doggy bags.”

Duck Pond Trail 

Take a stroll down Duck Pond Trail right off of Lincoln Highway! This trail is a favorite spot for runners, and dog walkers. The trails are well-kept, and the views are beautiful! One visitor said, “I love walking my dog here and letting her run around. There are lots of ducks and geese at this park, and it’s always fun to watch them waddle around. It’s almost a 2-mile hike around the whole trail.”
